We are very pleased to announce that Miss Garner has been appointed as our new Community Pioneer. Miss Garner already works in school as our catering manager and nutrition lead so she knows our community very well.

In her new role will work within the Trust's new Community Development Team. They are part of the Trust's Central Team and their role is to develop and implement a Trust-wide community strategy, helping each academy to play a part in achieving Co-op’s vision, within its local community, of 'collaborating for a fairer world'.

The community development team want to help ensure that each academy develops and implements a community plan that is relevant to the specific needs of their own community.

Miss Garner said," I am feeling excited and looking forward to making a positive difference to the Penny Oaks community."
