We are delighted to announce that we have been awarded the prestigious Quality in Careers Standard for primary schools. After a day of assessment which involved: a thorough deep dive of our careers related learning (CRL) and how this is integrated across our entire curriculum, discussions about our commitment to careers related learning with Mrs Khambhaita, a selection of pupils and Mr Waddington (our CRL lead) and a thorough review of lessons and other evidence available, the assessor was very impressed with our commitment to CRL and the work Mr Waddington continues to do to grow this area of our bespoke curriculum. 

Mr Waddington said, "I am delighted that our work for CRL has been recognised with this award. We have worked very hard to raise the aspirations of our children and open up the world of work to them so that they can aspire to be whatever they want to be in life. The children at Penny Oaks get a real insight into the variety of jobs and careers available to them when they leave school and aspire to do great things."
