To celebrate Bradford 2025 – City of Culture - pupils across Bradford have been asked to complete a 2D image depicting a famous Bradfordian and a 3D piece representing a Bradford Building that is special to them.

We completed our pieces of art before the Christmas holidays and now they are being displayed at the Dye House Gallery as part of the City of Culture celebrations.

The artwork, along with that from many other schools in Bradford, is displayed at the following times, and you are invited to attend to view the excellent work produced:

Mondays & Tuesdays through January: 11:00 – 4:00 p.m.

Saturday 18th January: 10:00 – 12:30

Saturday 25th January: 10:00 – 12:30

Thursday 30th January (closing event): 5:00 – 6:30 pm

Children’s Mental Health Week Stall

During Children’s Mental Health week, Mrs Shah is hoping to hold a Second-Hand stall.  We are asking for donations of used toys that are in a good condition.

Warm Clothing

Please send your child/children to school with coats, hats, scarves, gloves etc.  If your child comes to school in wellington boots please ensure they bring a change of shoes to school.  Please also make sure all items have your child’s name in them.

Healthy Eating

We would like to remind you that we operate a healthy eating policy in our school and would be grateful if you could choose healthy options for your child’s lunch box.

Co-op Update

  • Mrs Hussain and Mrs Mitra attended Safer Working Practice training on Tuesday at Co-op Academy Delius.
  • Mrs Vasey attended a GDPR Networking meeting on Wednesday.
