At Co-op Academy Penny Oaks we want to encourage our pupils to read and to love books; we hope that by introducing them to a wide range of amazing books we will instil a love of reading that will last a lifetime.
The amazing teachers at our school have chosen a selection of beautiful books for our pupils to study. The books were chosen for their engaging stories and illustrations, for their diversity in terms of protected characteristics and their links to our overarching class themes. We hope that this selection of books will engage our children, expose them to a diverse range of characters and help to provide them with a deeper understanding of the wider curriculum.
